The Georgetown neighborhood is about a 20-minute walk from The Hepburn and offers a different scene from Dupont. While I think Dupont is probably the best neighborhood in D.C., sometimes it’s nice to get a change of scenery. I’ve curated a perfect Georgetown day. But maybe try this when it’s above 40 degrees 🙂

Blue Bottle Coffee

Start the day out with one of the best coffee drinks in D.C. The line is sometimes long, but to me, that’s an indicator that the wait is worth it.

Laduree & Levain

The two L’s. Stop into Levain to pick-up one of the best cookies in the country. They will change your life. Then pop in to Laduree to try some of the best macarons in the world. Also, they both make amazing hostess gifts if you need an excuse to go in.

COS

COS has some of the chicest, classic clothes you can find. I love this store because although the clothes look simple – there is always a little twist.

Ralph Lauren

Talking about classic; Ralph Lauren is it. I always am in awe of their window displays and it takes every ounce of my willpower not to walk in and buy a full outfit.

Duly Noted

Stop by this adorable stationery and gift shop for some cute note cards, gel pens and holiday-themed items. And yes – I said gel pens.

Filomena Ristorante

Filomena is a Georgetown staple. Actually, a D.C. staple. It’s some of the best Italian food in the city and it’s decor can’t be missed. Don’t skip out on the desserts that you were eyeing by the hostess stand…

Martin’s Tavern

End your perfect Georgetown day with a night cap at the famous Martin’s Tavern and be sure and try to get the “Proposal Booth” if you can.
