While this year has been absolute nuts, there are still a lot of things to be thankful for. I, for one, am very thankful for all the time I’ve been able to spend with my dog (or she might be be the thankful one?). I’m also thankful that I’ll be able to spend the holidays with my family, but knowing that might not be an option for all, I wanted to share a few Dupont circle-ish restaurants that are offering Thanksgiving dinners to-go!

Federalist Pig

Federalist Pig will be smoking up turkeys for your party of 4 to 12 guests. They’re preparing traditional sides like rolls, cranberry sauce, and gravy but also offering smoked cheddar mac and chipotle-garlic green beans. Oh and don’t forget the pie. You can email them to place your order.

Teddy & the Bully Bar

This Dupont staple is offering an at-home Thanksgiving menu for up to 10 people. They also offering the traditional turkey, green beans, and stuffing but what caught my eye was the Pumpkin Pie Bread Pudding with cinnamon whipped cream. Um yum! Orders must be placed by November 24th and you can check out more details here.

Blue Duck Tavern

Now, Blue Duck Tavern is technically in West End, but it’s worth traveling an extra block or two outside of Dupont Circle. The “All American Feast” they’re offering feeds up to 8 people (after looking at the menu – it definitely could feed more!) and your order must be placed by November 21st, so don’t wait! Turkey and gravy are included, but so is whipped potatoes, cranberry sauce, greens, cornbread oyster stuffing, and honey roasted carrots..oh my. You also get an apple and pumpkin pie.

So while Thanksgiving might look a little different this year, the restaurants in Dupont Circle and all around D.C. are trying to make sure we are all fed accordingly. It’s definitely something to be thankful for!
